Active Search for Missing Bethesda Juvenile

For Immediate Release: Thursday, December 3, 2015

Update: 12:53 a.m. on 12/4/15 - Nathaniel Castro has been located and is safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department - Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public's help to locate a missing Bethesda juvenile.

Nathaniel Patrick Castro, age 12, of the 6600 block of Pyle Road in Bethesda, was last seen today at 4:00 p.m., when he left his home riding a dark blue mountain bike.  He was planning to go for a bike ride.

Nathaniel Castro is described as a biracial male, 5’06” tall, 125 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.  He was last seen wearing a blue, zip-up hooded sweatshirt that has a green lining, a gray t-shirt, and bright, Nike LeBron sneakers.

Police and family are concerned for Nathaniel's welfare.  Officers are actively searching for Nathaniel.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Nathaniel Castro is asked to immediately call the Montgomery County Police Department at  301-279-8000 (24 hour line).
