Germantown Homicide Investigated

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department - Major Crimes Division are investigating a homicide that occurred this evening in Germantown.

On December 16 at approximately 7:14 p.m., the Emergency Communications Center (9-1-1) received a call for a shooting in the 18600 block of Sage Way.  5th District officers and Fire Rescue personnel responded and located an adult male on the ground adjacent to a residence; he had apparent gunshot wounds.  The victim, suffering with life-threatening injuries, was transported to a local trauma center where he succumbed to his injuries.

This homicide investigation is continuing and detectives urge anyone who may have information to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240.773.5070. For those who wish to remain anonymous, Crime Solvers of Montgomery County is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the suspect(s).
