Concern for Missing Bethesda Teenager

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing Bethesda juvenile.

Tejin (pronounced: Taa-gin) Thomas, a 17-year-old male, of the 5200 block of Belvoir Drive in Bethesda, was last seen at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 3 when, it is believed he used Uber to leave his home.  Tejin Thomas is 5’ 8” tall and weighs 125 pounds.  He has brown eyes and short black hair.  At the time he left his home, he was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue pants.  He was also carrying a duffel bag.

Tejin Thomas left messages that contained suicidal statements before leaving his home last night.  Police and family are concerned for his emotional and physical welfare - he has not been heard from since his departure.  Police are attempting to locate the Uber driver who drove Tejin from his home last night and want to hear from him or her.
