Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to identify three suspects involved in an armed robbery that occurred in a parking garage at the Westfield Montgomery Mall, located at 7101 Democracy Boulevard in Bethesda.  As a result of the ongoing investigation, detectives have recently obtained surveillance photographs of two suspects.

On November 27 at approximately 6:02 p.m., the adult female victim was robbed by three males in the parking garage near Macy’s. One of the suspects was armed with a weapon. The suspects stole property from the victim, to include her credit cards. The suspects fled the area in a grey Dodge Avenger with damage to the front passenger side tire rim.

The three suspects are described as black males, approximately 20 to 25 years of age.

At the time of the robbery the first suspect was wearing a blue hat, blue shirt and blue jeans.

The second suspect was wearing a black shirt and dark colored jeans.

Today, detectives are releasing surveillance photographs of a male and female suspect who used the victim’s credit cards at two retail stores in NE Washington, D.C., approximately one hour after the robbery. Investigators believe that the male suspect in the photograph was also involved in the armed robbery.

Anyone with information regarding these suspects or this robbery is asked to call the 2nd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6710. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment for this felony crime.
