Concern for Missing Silver Spring Woman

Update: January 19, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. - Ana Guardado-Pineda has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the 3rd District are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Silver Spring woman.

Ana Guardado-Pineda, age 44, of the 800 block of University Boulevard E in Silver Spring, was last seen on January 8 at approximately 7:20 a.m. at her residence.  Guardado-Pineda stated to family members that she planned to travel by bus to a doctor's appointment in the Aspen Hill area later that morning; Guardado-Pineda did not go to the appointment.

Ana Guardado-Pineda is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 5’03” tall, and 170 pounds.  She has brown eyes and black hair.

There is no indication of foul play in this missing person case but police and family are concerned for Guardado-Pineda's physical and emotional welfare.
