82 Year Old Man Visiting Family in Silver Spring Reported Missing

January 15, 2016 at 11:54 a.m - Update: Innocent Camille has been located in a residential area in Silver Spring. He is being transported to the hospital for a medical evaluation. Thank you to the resident who saw Mr. Camille and called the Department.

Update: January 15, 2016 at 9:33  a.m. -

The Department continues to actively search for Innocent Camille.

Residents, especially in neighborhoods that surround Broadmore Road and Tamarack Road off of East Randolph Road, are asked to search their yards, sheds, stairwells, vehicles, etc. for signs of Mr. Camille.

Residents may see officers, K9 units, and helicopters in the area as the search for Mr. Camille continues.

If anyone sees Mr. Camille or has information about his whereabouts, please call 9-1-1 immediately.

Detectives from the 3rd District are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Silver Spring man.

Innocent Camille was last seen in the 12800 block of Broadmore Road, off of E. Randolph Road, in Silver Spring at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 14.  Innocent Camille is from Haiti but is staying with a family member at that location.

Innocent Camille is 82 years old and is described as a black male who is 6" 2" tall and weighs 150 pounds.  He has a thin build and short hair that is graying.  He was last seen wearing a white and blue shirt, tan pants, and hospital shoes.  He may also have a brown hat.  Mr. Camille recently had surgery on his foot, has diabetes, and may display signs of dementia.

Mr. Camille does not speak English but does speak French and Creole.  He is not familiar with the area and is not known to use public transportation.  Police and family are concerned for Innocent Camille's welfare.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Innocent Camille is asked to call 9-1-1.
