Detectives Investigate Three Commercial Burglaries in Montgomery Village – Surveillance Video Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department- 6th District Investigative Section continue to investigate three commercial burglaries that occurred in December at two different locations in Montgomery Village. Detectives believe that the same suspects are involved in these three burglaries. Today, detectives are releasing video surveillance from two of these burglaries and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.

On December 14 at approximately 6:09 a.m., 6th District officers responded to the Montgomery Village Beer and Wine store located at 18268 Contour Road after the owner discovered that the glass, front door to the business was shattered. Store video surveillance shows two suspects throwing a rock through the glass door and entering the business at 12:45 a.m. The suspects stole items and an undisclosed amount of cash.

On December 19 at approximately 1:39 a.m., 6th District officers responded to an alarm at the A1 Mailbox store located at 18210 Contour Road. Officers discovered a shattered front glass door. Investigation revealed that the suspect(s) forced entry into the business and stole property.

That same morning at approximately 8:16 a.m., 6th District officers responded to the Montgomery Village Beer and Wine store after the business owner found the glass front door shattered again. Video surveillance captured one suspect force entry into the business at 1:23 a.m. The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled from the business.
