Concern for Missing Silver Spring Man

UPDATE: January 15, 2016 at 10:20 p.m. - Jose Flores has been located and is being reunited with family.

The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 28-year-old man with Down syndrome.

Jose Flores of the 10000 block of Rogart Road in Silver Spring left his home unannounced between 7:00 pm and 7:15 p.m. this evening.  Jose functions at the level of a 5-year-old.

Jose Flores is described as a Hispanic male with brown eyes and black hair.  He was last seen wearing a green shirt, blue jeans, and green shoes.

Jose Flores is familiar with public transportation and likes to travel to the Westfield Wheaton Mall (located at 11160 Veirs Mill Road in Wheaton) and the Mall at Prince Georges (located at 3500 East-West Highway in Hyattsville).

Anyone who sees Jose Flores or has information on his whereabouts is asked to immediately call 911.
