Damascus Area Woman Missing

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, February 2, 2016

UPDATE: February 2, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. - Migdaila Von Strauss has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the 5th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 48-year-old woman.

Migdaila Von Strauss from the 7500 block of Damascus Road in the Damascus area was last spoke to a family member via telephone early this morning.

Migdaila Von Strauss is described as a white female, approximately 5’7” tall, and weighing 120 pounds. She has medium-length brown hair and brown eyes. Von Strauss may be driving a 2008, black Range Rover with Maryland tags: 5BA8007.

Police and family are concerned for Von Strauss’ physical and emotional welfare.

Anyone with information regarding Mrs. Von Strauss’ whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Department at 301-279-8000.
