Update: Rockville Man Located

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, February 3, 2016

Update:  Frank Chang returned home earlier this morning.  He was unharmed.  Police and family thank residents and media for publicizing this case.

Detectives from the 6th District Investigative Section are asking the public's assistance in locating a missing Rockville man.

On February 3 at approximately 7:45 p.m., Frank Chang, 74 years old, left his place of employment at 8919 Shady Grove Court, in Gaithersburg.  After waiting for a period of time for his ride, Chang began walking.  Family and friends have not heard from him since that time but believe that he could be walking toward his Rockville home.

Frank Chang is described as an Asian male, 5’07’’, and weighing 145 pounds.  He has black hair, wears glasses, and may walk with a slight limp.  It is unknown what he was wearing when he walked away.  He has a history of minor strokes, memory loss, and is believed to be unfamiliar with public transportation.  Frank Chang went missing in July 2015 and was later found walking toward his home in the 4800 block of Powder House Drive, in Rockville.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Frank Chang is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number, 301.279.8000
