Concern for Missing Juvenile from Silver Spring

Update March 15, 2016: Reniqua Etisha Simms, age 16, of the 1700 block of Featherwood Street, has been located safe and unharmed.

Police and family thank the public and media outlets for their assistance with this case.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department - Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing Silver Spring juvenile.

Reniqua Etisha Simms, age 16, of the 1700 block of Featherwood Street, was last seen at her home on Thursday, March 10.  Reniqua is described as a black female, 5’01” tall, and weighing 110 pounds.  She has brown eyes, black hair, and was last seen wearing a gray, hooded jumper.  She is known to frequent the area of the downtown Silver Spring.

Police and family are concerned for Reniqua's physical and emotional welfare.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Reniqua Etisha Simms is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
