St. Patrick's Day Sobriety Checkpoint

Tonight, Montgomery County Police officers will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint. This enforcement is a component of the Department’s continuing effort to curb impaired driving and underage drinking.  For those people that will be celebrating with alcohol tonight, we remind you to choose a sober driver.  The Washington Regional Alcohol Program's 2016 St. Patrick's Day SoberRide service offers a free cab ride home tonight.  (Click on the link for important details concerning this program).

The exact location of the sobriety checkpoint will not be disclosed in advance.  The checkpoint will be cancelled if there is inclement weather.
