Concern for Missing Montgomery Village Man

Update: (04/06/2016, 4:45 p.m.):  Bernard Andre O'brien has been located safe and unharmed.  The Department thanks the public and media for sharing this missing person case.

The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Montgomery Village man.

Bernard Andre O'brien, age 29, of Lake Shore Drive, was last seen on foot in the area of the Montgomery Village Crossing shopping center (9600 block of Lost Knife Road) on April 1 at approximately noon.

Bernard O'brien is described as an African American male, 6’00? tall, and weighs 215 pounds. His head is shaved and he has brown eyes.

Police and family are concerned for O'brien's physical and emotional well-being.

O'brien has no known access to a vehicle and uses public transportation.  He frequents the downtown Silver Spring area and Southeast, Washington, D.C.
