Detectives Seek Public’s Help to Locate Autistic Teen Missing from Kensington

UPDATE: (04/13/2016 3:45 p.m.) Brandon Osmin Deleon has been located safe and unharmed.  Police and family thank the media and public for sharing this missing person case.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police 2nd District Investigative Section are asking the public for help to locate a missing Autistic teen.

Brandon Osmin Deleon is 19 years old and from the 3500 block of Lawrence Avenue in Kensington. He was believed to have gone to Pinstripes Georgetown Bowling located at 1064 Wisconsin Avenue in NW Washington, D.C. yesterday evening (April 12), but has not returned home.

He is described as a white male, 5’ 5” tall, weighing 130 pounds, with dark brown curly hair with blond patches. He is believed to be wearing a black leather jacket and carrying a blue backpack. Brandon is known to use public transportation and Uber services.

Police and family members are concerned for his welfare.

Anyone with information in reference to the whereabouts of Brandon Deleon is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (available 24 hours). Callers may remain anonymous.

Note to members of law enforcement: Brandon may attempt to flee from and/or attempt to fight officers in uniform.
