Concern for Missing Kensington Area Man

Update: (04/19/16 6:30 p.m.)  Aaron Ray Watkins has been located safe and unharmed.  The police and family thank the media for sharing this missing person case.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public's help to locate a missing Kensington area man.

Aaron Ray Watkins is 21 years old and from the 10100 block of Meredith Avenue. He left his residence yesterday (April 18) at approximately 12:30 p.m. and was believed to be taking a Ride On bus to go to the Montgomery College Rockville campus (51 Mannakee Street).  He was expected to return home by 8:00 p.m. that evening but did not return home nor make contact with family.

Aaron Watkins is described as an African American male, 6’ 02” tall, weighing approximately 157 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.  He was last seen wearing an electric blue polo shirt, blue jeans, and black tennis shoes.  He uses a blue wheelchair.  The wheelchair has a black bag on the back of it; the bag has the words "Channel 19" and "Channel 21" written on it.  Aaron Watkins is known to use public transportation.

Police and family members are concerned for his welfare.
