Silver Alert Issued for Missing Man with Alzheimer's

Update: May 23, 2016 at 3:25 p.m. - Mr. Sun has been located in the District of Columbia (DC) and will be reunited with family.

The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing Bethesda man.  A Silver Alert has been activated for Thomas Theishin Sun, age 86, of the 6200 block of Tuckerman Lane in Bethesda.

Sun was last seen today at approximately 8:30 a.m. at his residence.  Sun is described as an Asian male, 5’10? tall, and weighing approximately 200 pounds.  He is balding and walks with the assistance of a cane.  Sun has Alzheimer's and other medical conditions that require monitoring.

He left his home driving a 1998 red Isuzu Trooper with Maryland tag: 335537M.

Anyone with information regarding Sun's whereabouts or anyone who sees Sun's vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1.
