Detectives Investigate Commercial Burglary in Bethesda

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 2nd District Investigative Section continue to investigate a commercial burglary that occurred at the GAMMA Martial Arts Academy in Bethesda in early May.  Today, detectives are releasing surveillance video of the suspect and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him.

On May 5 at approximately 12:17 p.m., 2nd District officers responded to the GAMMA Martial Arts Academy located at 4833 Bethesda Avenue for a burglary that had just been discovered by an employee arriving to open the store for business.  The investigation determined that one of the front doors to the business had been forced open and that the suspect took four Dell tablets.

A surveillance camera from a neighboring business captured the suspect exiting the GAMMA Martial Arts Academy’s rear door at approximately 10:19 p.m.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about this burglary is asked to contact the 2nd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6710.  Tipsters can also call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or enter a tip online. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment for this felony crime.
