Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Major Crimes Division - Homicide Section are investigating the death of an 18-year-old male whose body was discovered in a Gaithersburg park Friday evening. They are investigating his death as a homicide.
On Friday, June 17, at approximately 7:46 p.m., officers from the 6th District and Gaithersburg Police Department responded to Malcolm King Park located at 1200 West Side Drive, in Gaithersburg for the report of a deceased male.
First responders located the victim, who has been identified as Cristian Antonio Villagran Morales of Gaithersburg; there was evidence of trauma to his body.
Detectives are urging anyone who may have information regarding this murder to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240.773.5070. For those who wish to remain anonymous, Crime Solvers of Montgomery County is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the suspect(s).
