UPDATE: 6th District Detectives Seek Help from the Public to Locate Man Missing from Gaithersburg

Update July 11 7:30 p.m.: Detectives located Thomas Luu safe and unharmed in Houston and he has returned home.

UPDATE June 25 2:50 p.m.: Detectives believe that Luu may currently be in Salt Lake City, Utah. Anyone who can confirm or disprove this information is asked to call 301-279-8000. 

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police 6th District Investigative Section are seeking help from the public to locate a man missing from Gaithersburg. He was last seen early this morning at his residence in the 100 block of Central Avenue.

Thomas Vinh Luu is described as a 35-year-old Asian male, 5’3” tall and weighing 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. It is not known what he is wearing. He has been diagnosed with a medical condition for which he was prescribed medication that he does not have with him.

It is believed that he may have been in the area of Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling military base located at 20 MacDill Blvd., Washington, D.C. this morning.
