Concern For Missing Bethesda Teen

UPDATE: June 29 at 10:30 a.m. - Delano Munoz Whatts has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing 18-year-old Bethesda male.

Delano Munoz Whatts left his home in the 5100 block of Dudley Lane at approximately 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28 after a disagreement with a family member.

Delano Whatts is described as an African-American male who is 5' 11" tall, weighing 160 pounds.  When he left his residence he was wearing a dark colored track jacket with a stripe on the sleeve.  He was driving a blue, 2007, Nissan Altima with Maryland tags 4BY4229.

Delano Whatts left a note with suicidal statements.  Family and police are concerned for his safety and welfare.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Delano Whatts or the blue Nissan Altima is requested to immediately call 9-1-1.
