Concern for Missing 78-Year-Old Woman with Dementia

Update July 21: Ms. Flammer was found safe and unharmed and reunited with family. Police and family thank all those who assisted in publicizing this missing person case.

Detectives from the 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 78-year-old woman who is in the early stages of Dementia.

Willie Mae Flammer, of the 1100 block of Ripley Street in Silver Spring was last seen yesterday, at approximately 9:00 a.m. when she left her home.

Willie Mae Flammer is described as a white female, approximately 5’0” tall, and weighing 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black wig and has violet colored contact lenses.  She was last seen wearing a pink cowboy hat and a white tank top.  Ripley is known to frequent the Central Business District of the Silver Spring area.

Anyone with any information regarding Ms. Flammer’s whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Department immediately at 301-279-8000.
