Concern For Missing Gaithersburg Man

UPDATE:  Joseph Youssefi has been located, is safe and unharmed, and is with family.  We thank all who helped publicize this case.

Detectives from the 6th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 20-year-old autistic man.

Joseph "Joey" Fiourz Youssefi was scheduled to meet with Adult Protective Services earlier today but did not come to the appointment.  He is described as white male who is 5' 6" tall and weighs 180 pounds.  He has brown hair and brown eyes.  He is classified as 'non-verbal' but may respond to being called "Joey."

Joseph Youssefi lives in the 9600 block of Kanfer Court in Gaithersburg.  He may be in the company of a family member, Farah Youssefi, a white female who is 64 years old.  She may be driving a light blue, 2010 Honda CRV with Maryland license plate, 5BV4666.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Joseph Youssefi, Farah Youssefi, or the light blue Honda, is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police at 301.279.8000.
