Concern For Missing Bethesda Man

For Immediate Release: Friday, July 29, 2016

UPDATE:   August 1, 2016, Alejandro G. Arlia was located deceased on July 29 by officers from the United States Park Police.  Mr. Arlia was located on U.S. Park Police property near the George Washington Parkway .  No foul play is suspected.  Please contact Jenny Anzelmo-Sarles with the National Park Service at [email protected] or call 202-619-7177 for more information.

Detectives from the 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public's assistance in locating a 51-year-old Bethesda man.

Alejandro G. Arlia, of the 6800 block of Millwood Road in Bethesda was last seen at his residence on Wednesday, July 27th, at approximately 12:00 p.m.

Mr. Arlia is described as a Hispanic male, 5’ 8” tall, and weighing 160 pounds.  He has black hair and brown eyes.  At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a white and lavender polo t-shirt and gray shorts with vertical stripes.  He also wears glasses as shown in the photographs.

Family and police are concerned for his emotional and physical welfare.
