Concern for Missing 73-Year-Old Man With Dementia

Update: August 8, 2016, Gerald Webster has been located safe and unharmed.  The police and family thank the public and media for sharing this missing person case.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police – 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Kensington man with dementia.

Gerald Webster, age 73, from the 3000 block of McComas Avenue was last seen leaving his residence at approximately 5:15 p.m. this evening when he informed a friend he was taking a bus to the Georgia Avenue area. Webster is described as a black male, 5’8” tall, and weighing approximately 100 pounds.  He has short grey hair, brown eyes, a grey colored goatee, and was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.  Webster suffers from dementia and uses a silver colored walker to assist with his mobility.

Anyone with information in reference to the whereabouts of Gerald Webster is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
