Concern For Rockville Man

Update: September 12, 2016 - Gregory Gernert returned to his residence this morning.  Thank you for sharing this missing person case.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police, 1st District  Investigative Section are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing Rockville man.

Gregory Gernert, 53, of the 1600 block of Bradley Avenue in Rockville, walked away from his residence on Monday, September 5 at approximately 4:30 p.m.  Gernert is described as a white male who is 6' 2" and weighs approximately 250 pounds.  He has brown eyes and brown hair.  At the time of his disappearance, Gernert was wearing a blue tank top and blue jeans.  Gernert is familiar with public transportation.

Police and family are concerned for his physical and emotional welfare as he is without his medication.
