Detectives Investigate Robbery of Wheaton CVS Pharmacy; Surveillance Video Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division continue to investigate the July 24 robbery of a CVS Pharmacy located at 12209 Veirs Mills Road in Wheaton.  Today, investigators are releasing a target="_blank">surveillance video of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

The investigation by detectives revealed that at approximately 9:59 a.m. on July 24, the suspect entered the CVS Pharmacy carrying a duffle bag and went to where the store’s hair care products were located.  A CVS Pharmacy employee witnessed the suspect take hair coloring and shampoo products and put them inside his duffel bag.  When the employee attempted to stop the suspect from leaving the store with the stolen merchandise, the suspect threatened the employee with bodily harm.  The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot on Veirs Mill Road.
