Concern for Missing Wheaton Woman

Update: September 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. - Ruby Jean Willford has been located safe and unharmed and will be reunited with family.  The police and family thank the public and media for sharing this missing person case.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Wheaton woman.

Ruby Jean Willford, age 65, was last seen by family on Tuesday, September 19 at approximately 10:00 p.m. when she walked out of her Parker Avenue home.  Family members reported Willford missing early the next morning and stated that she is familiar with public transportation and that they did not know where she may have gone.

Ruby Jean Willford is described as an African American female, 5’04” tall and weighing 120 pounds.  She has brown eyes and wears a long blonde wig that contains multi-colored weaves.  She was last seen wearing a black jacket over a crème colored turtleneck, a long skirt with blue stripes, and tan boots.

Ms. Willford is without her medication and police and family members are concerned for her physical welfare.
