Concern for Missing Bethesda Man, Silver Alert Issued

Update: September 28, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. - Norberto Goldberg has been located safe and unharmed in Washington, D.C., and will be reunited with family.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Bethesda man.  A Silver Alert has been issued for Norberto Goldberg, 75 years old, of East West Highway in Bethesda.

Norberto Goldberg left his East West Highway home to run errands on Tuesday, September 27 at approximately 2:00 p.m.  He was driving a metallic gray, 2014 Chrysler 200 with Maryland tag: 7CA4188.

Norberto Goldberg is described as a white male who is 5’05” tall and weighs 150 pounds.  He has gray hair and brown eyes.  At the time he left his house, Norberto Goldberg was wearing a crème or beige colored shirt, long black pants, black shoes, and a black leather baseball cap.

Mr. Goldberg suffers from dementia and police and family are concerned for his physical well-being.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Norberto Goldberg or the metallic gray Chrysler 200 is asked to call 9-1-1.
