Detectives Investigate Nighttime Residential Burglary in Germantown; Surveillance Video Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 5th District Investigative Section continue to investigate a September 19 residential burglary in Germantown. Today, detectives are releasing home target="_blank">surveillance video of two suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.
The investigation by detectives revealed that on September 19 at approximately 3:00 a.m., the homeowner, who was asleep in her home in the 12700 block of Longford Glen Drive, awoke and discovered one of the suspects in the living room of the residence. The homeowner confronted the suspect and he ran toward the front door. The homeowner pursued after the suspect and observed a second suspect inside the home. Both suspects fled from the home and toward Mateny Road as the homeowner pursued them. The homeowner then returned to her home and discovered that property had been stolen.
Investigators determined that there was no forced entry into the home.
