Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division are investigating a homicide that occurred last night in Gaithersburg.
On Monday, October 24 at approximately 9:58 p.m., the Emergency Communications Center (ECC) received a 9-1-1 call for a shooting that had just occurred at a residence in the 7900 block of Muncaster Mill Road. Officers from the 6
th District along with Fire and Rescue personnel responded and located an adult male victim at the home suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. A short time later, the victim succumbed to his injuries prior to being transported.
This homicide investigation is continuing and detectives urge anyone who may have information to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070. For those who wish to remain anonymous, Crime Solvers of Montgomery County is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the suspect(s).
