Concern For Missing Silver Spring Man

For Immediate Release: Saturday, October 29, 2016

Update: October 31, 2016 (11:00 a.m.) - Michael Wilder has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing Silver Spring man.

On Friday, October 28, Michael Craig Wilder, 53 years old, walked away from his residence, an assisted living facility, located at 8301 Barron Street in Silver Spring.   

Wilder is described as a white male, 5' 6" tall, and weighing 170 pounds.  He has graying hair and graying facial hair.  He is believed to be wearing a gray skull cap, a dark colored denim jacket, black jeans, and dark colored shoes.  He does not have his medication with him.

Police and family are concerned for his welfare.  Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Michael Craig Wilder is urged to contact police at 301.279.8000.
