Concern for Missing Wheaton Man

Update: 11/14/2016 - Harry Miller has been located safe and unharmed.  The Department and Mr. Miller's family thank the media and public for sharing this missing person case.

Detectives from the 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 70-year-old male from Wheaton.

Harry R. Miller left his residence, the NMS Healthcare nursing home facility located at 4011 Randolph Road at approximately 6:45 am today. Mr. Miller did not tell caretakers that he was leaving or where he was going; officers reviewed facility video surveillance and determined that Mr. Miller left the nursing home at 6:45 am.  Mr. Miller left without his wallet or cellular phone.

Mr. Miller is described as a black male, 5'07" tall, and weighing 110 pounds. He has brown eyes, gray hair, and a gray mustache. He was last seen wearing a gray colored sweatshirt.

Harry Miller has memory problems and can become confused. He has family in the District of Columbia and Bowie, Maryland.

Police are concerned for Mr. Miller's welfare.  Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Harry R. Miller is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police at 301.279.8000 (24/7 line).
