Concern for Missing Montgomery Village Man

Update: November 30, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. - Herve Fonkoua Fohom has been located safe and unharmed in Washington, D.C.  The police and family thank the public and media for sharing this missing person case.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 6th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Montgomery Village man.

Herve Fonkoua Fohom, age 23, of Crested Iris Court, was last seen by his mother at approximately 11:30 a.m. yesterday morning when she dropped him off at the Lakeforest Mall located at 701 Russell Avenue in Gaithersburg.

Herve Fonkoua Fohom is described as an African American male, 5’9” tall, and weighing approximately 190 pounds.  He has black hair, brown eyes, and tattoos that cover both of his arms.

Police and family are concerned for his emotional and physical welfare.
