Concern for Missing Woodstock Man

Update: December 5, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. - Achydam Monestime has been located safe and unharmed in Alexandria, Virginia.  Police and family thank the public and media for sharing this missing person case.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Woodstock man.

On December 4 at approximately 11:00 a.m., Achydam Monestime, age 24, left his father’s home on Beaker Court in Burtonsville to take a bus from Greenbelt to Woodstock.  At approximately 9:27 p.m. that evening, Monestime spoke with his father on the telephone and told his father that he missed the bus. Monestime’s father nor any family members have heard from him since that time.

Achydam Monestime is described as an African American male, 5’2” tall, and weighing 160 pounds.  He has short black hair, brown eyes, and a mustache.

Police and family are concerned for Achydam Monestime’s emotional and physical welfare.
