Concern for Missing Chevy Chase Area Man

Update: December 16, 2016 - David Louis Walther has been located safe and unharmed. Thank you for sharing this missing person case.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Chevy Chase area man.

David Louis Walther, age 25, was last seen by roommates when he left his Drummond Avenue home at approximately 6:00 p.m. this evening.  Detectives have further determined that Walther last communicated with friends by email shortly after he left his home.

David Louis Walther is described as a Hispanic male, 5’4” tall, and weighing 140 pounds.  He has short, black hair and black eyes.  Detectives believe Walther may be driving a blue, 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck with Maryland tag: DXX3164.

Police and family members are concerned for Walther’s emotional and physical welfare.
