Concern for Missing Leisure World Woman, Silver Alert Issued

Update: January 1, 2017 at 11:50 p.m. – Gloria Deborah Adams has been located safe and unharmed and will be reunited with family.



Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Leisure World woman.  A Silver Alert has been issued for Gloria Deborah Adams, age 91, of South Leisure World Boulevard.

Gloria Deborah Adams left her residence between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. this afternoon to travel to a family member's home on Rayburn Road in Bethesda.  She was driving a silver, 2014 Volkswagen Jetta with Maryland tag: 2BR9629.

Gloria Deborah Adams is described as a white female who is 4’10” tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds.  She has white hair and blue eyes.

Ms. Adams suffers from dementia and police and family are concerned for her physical well-being.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Gloria Deborah Adams or the silver Volkswagen Jetta is asked to call 9-1-1.
