Rockville 7-Eleven Armed Robbery Investigated; Surveillance Video Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division continue to investigate the December 10 armed robbery of a 7-Eleven convenience store in Rockville.  Today, investigators are releasing target="_blank">surveillance video of the two suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

On Saturday, December 10 at approximately 3:22 a.m., 2nd District officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 5402 Randolph Road for the report of an armed robbery.

The investigation by detectives revealed that an adult male employee was working at the cash register and a second adult male employee was working in an aisle when the two suspects, both armed with handguns, entered the store.   The first suspect immediately went behind the counter and pointed a handgun at the employee.  He then removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.  While the first suspect was behind the counter, the second suspect confronted the other employee, pointed a handgun at him, and told him not to move.  Both suspects fled from the 7-Eleven.
