Concern for Missing Kensington Man

Update: January 24 at 11:30 a.m.: John Richard Frieburg has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Kensington man.

John Richard Frieburg, age 62, was last seen by family at approximately 2:00 p.m. this afternoon when he left his East Bexhill Drive residence.   Mr. Frieburg is new to the area and not yet familiar with his surroundings.  He does not have his wallet or cell phone with him.  Mr. Frieburg left without telling family where he was going.

John Richard Frieburg is described as a white male, 5’10” tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds.  He has long, grey hair and a salt and pepper colored beard.  Mr. Frieburg was last seen wearing a maroon sweater with a white stripe on it and blue jeans.

Police and family are concerned for John Frieburg’s physical and emotional welfare.
