Concern for Missing Germantown Man

UPDATE: February 20 at 10:30 a.m.- Michael Lewis Digenova has been located safe and unharmed.  The police and family thank the public and media for sharing this missing person case.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 5th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Germantown man.

Michael Lewis Digenova, age 22, from Jamieson Place in Germantown, was last seen by friends at approximately 3:30 p.m. this afternoon, when he boarded a Metro Red Line train at the Grosvenor Metro Station located at 10300 Rockville Pike in Bethesda.  The Metro Red Line train that Mr. Digenova was traveling on was headed toward the Shady Grove Metro Station, which is located at 15903 Somerville Drive in Rockville.   Mr. Digenova is familiar with public transportation and although he is an adult, he functions at the level of a 7th grader.

Michael Lewis Digenova is described as an African American male, 5’9” tall and weighing 140 pounds.  He has black hair, brown eyes, and wears glasses.  Mr. Digenova was last seen wearing a black hat, a gray T-shirt with the Baltimore Ravens logo on it, gray jeans, and black shoes.

Police and family members are concerned for Michael Digenova’s welfare.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Michael Lewis Digenova is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (available 24 hours).  Callers may remain anonymous.
