Concern For Missing Gaithersburg Woman

Update: February 28, 2017 - Angelica Ivania Barahona-Rivas was located this morning in Montgomery Village, safe and unharmed.  The police and family thank the public and media for sharing this missing person case.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police - 6th District Investigative Section are asking the public for assistance in locating a missing 18-year-old Gaithersburg woman.

Angelica Ivania Barahona-Rivas was last known to be at work at the Wok Express located at 9615 Lost Knife Road in Gaithersburg last night (Saturday, February 25) at approximately 9:00 p.m.  It is believed she left work at approximately that time, leaving early before her shift was scheduled to be completed.

Family and friends are reporting to police that they have not been able to contact her and are concerned.  This evening investigators believe there may be some indication that Barahona-Rivas may be in the New Jersey area.

Angelica Ivania Barahona-Rivas is described as 18 years old, 5' 3" tall, and weighing 150 pounds.  At the time she left work she was wearing a tan shirt, tan skirt, a gray jacket, black boots, and carrying a pink purse.
