Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 6^th District Investigative Section continue to investigate the March 4 commercial burglary of the European Market store in Derwood and the attempted commercial burglary of the Flower Hill Beer store in Gaithersburg that are believed to have been committed by the same suspects. Today, detectives are releasing target="_blank">surveillance video of the suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

On Saturday, March 4 at approximately 2:50 a.m., the Emergency Communications Center (9-1-1) received a call for an alarm at the Flower Hill Beer store located at 18253 Flower Hill Way. 6th District officers arrived to the business and observed that a rock had been used to break out the glass to the front door of the business. Officers determined that the suspects did not gain entry into the business.

A few minutes later, at approximately 3:00 a.m., the Emergency Communications Center received a call for an alarm at the European Market store located at 17605 Redland Road. 6th District officers arrived to the store and discovered that a rock had been used to break out the glass to the front door of the business.

The surveillance video being released shows the two suspects outside of the European Market before they committed the burglary.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has information about these commercial burglaries is asked to contact the 6th District Investigative Section at 240-773-5770.
