Concern for Missing Wheaton Area Woman

Update: April 15 at 3:00 p.m. - Sandra Yaritza Diaz has been located safe and unharmed.  The police and family thank the public and media for sharing this missing person case.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Wheaton area woman

Sandra Yaritza Diaz, age 25, of the 11800 block of Selfridge Road, was last seen by family members during the afternoon hours on Thursday, April 13, when she left her residence on foot.  Ms. Diaz, who owns a vehicle, left her car parked outside of her residence when she left.  Ms. Diaz’s vehicle remains parked in front of the home and family and friends have not heard from her since she left.

Sandra Yaritza Diaz is described as a Hispanic female, 5’7” tall, and weighing 150 pounds.  She has black hair and brown eyes.

Police and family members are concerned for Ms. Diaz’s physical and emotional well-being.
