Update: Victims' Identities Released in Montgomery Village Homicide; Detectives Request Community Assistance

Update: June 7, 2017 - The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) in Baltimore has ruled the manner of Shadi Adi Najjar and Artem S. Ziberov deaths as homicide by multiple gunshot wounds.  Detectives continue to investigate this double homicide and are urging anyone in the community with information to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division continue to investigate the double homicide that occurred last night inside of a vehicle in the 8200 block of Gallery Court in Montgomery Village.

This morning detectives are confirming the identities of the two male victims as Shadi Adi Najjar, 17 years old, of Breezedale Lane in Germantown, and Artem S. Ziberov, 18 years old, of Flag Harbor Drive in Germantown.

Detectives have worked through the night on this case and continue to investigate these murders.  They are urging anyone in the community with information to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240.773.5070.   Crime Solvers of Montgomery County is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the suspect(s).  Tipsters can call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).
