Concern for Missing Aspen Hill Area Woman

Update: June 7, 2017 - Vanessa Williams Washington has been located safe and unharmed. 

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Aspen Hill area woman.

Vanessa Williams Washington, age 49, resides in a group home located in the 13000 block of Parkland Drive.  She was last seen by caretakers at approximately 2:00 p.m. this afternoon when she left the home on foot.

Ms. Washington is described as an African American female, who is 5' 7? tall and weighs approximately 280 pounds.  She has brown eyes and short black curly hair.  She was last seen wearing a grey shirt, blue jeans, and carrying a backpack.

Ms. Washington does not have her medication with her and police and caretakers are concerned for her welfare.
