Concern For Germantown Man

UPDATE: Lee Grant Washington, Jr. was located safe and unharmed on Sunday morning.  Police thank residents and media for publicizing this case.

Detectives with the Montgomery County Police - 5th District Investigative Section are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing Germantown man.

Lee Grant Washington, Jr., 48 years old, was last seen by family on Thursday, June 8 at 4:40 p.m., when he left his Chalet Drive address in Germantown to complete an errand in Montgomery Village.

Lee Grant Washington, Jr., is described as an African American male who is 5' 10" tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds.  At the time he left his Chalet Drive apartment, he was wearing a blue shirt and tan pants.  He is believed to be operating a red, 2008 Mitsubishi Galant with Maryland tags, AL2168. (The attached vehicle photograph is only a representation, and not Washington's actual vehicle).

Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Lee Grant Washington, Jr., or the Mitsubishi Galant to call the Montgomery County Police Department's non-emergency number, 301.279.8000.
