Concern for Missing Germantown Man

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, June 20, 2017

Update: June 20, 2017 - Idris Hamidzai has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 5^th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Germantown man.

Idris Hamidzai, age 42, was last seen by family members when he left his Gravinia Circle home on foot at approximately 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 19.  Mr. Hamidzai is described as a white male, who is 5' 6? tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds.  He has brown hair, black eyes, and was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.

Police and family are concerned for Mr. Hamidzai’s physical and emotional welfare.

Anyone with information regarding Idris Hamidzai’s whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
