Concern for Missing Juvenile from Montgomery Village

Update: Syncata Ghannam has been located safe and unharmed.  The police and family thank the public and media for sharing this missing person case.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing Montgomery Village juvenile.

Syncata Ghannam, age 16, of the 10200 block of Ridgeline Drive, has been reported missing by her family.  Syncata is described as an African American female, 5’07” tall, and weighing 140 pounds.  She has brown eyes, black hair, and wears glasses.

Police and family are concerned for Syncata’s physical and emotional welfare.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Syncata Ghannam is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
