Detectives Investigate Commercial Burglary in Montgomery Village; Surveillance Photographs Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 6th District Investigative Section continue to investigate the May 31 commercial burglary of a Montgomery County Liquor and Wine store in Montgomery Village.  At this time, detectives are releasing surveillance photographs of the suspect and asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

On May 31 at approximately 1:00 a.m., the Emergency Communications Center (911) received a call from a resident (who reported a possible burglary) at the Montgomery County Liquor and Wine store located at 20004 Goshen Road.  6th District officers arrived at the business and observed that the glass of the front doors of the store had been broken.

Officers reviewed store video surveillance and determined that at approximately 12:52 a.m., the suspect broke the front door glass and gained entry to the business.  The suspect is then observed stealing property from the store.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about this commercial burglary is asked to contact the 6th District Investigative Section at 240-773-5770.  To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or enter a tip online.
