Concern for Missing White Oak Area Woman - Silver Alert Activated

Update: August 2, 2017 - Ella Catherine Marstaller was located safe and unharmed early this morning.  The police and family thank the public and media for sharing this missing person case. 

Detectives from the 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 82-year-old White Oak area woman.  A Silver Alert has been activated by the Maryland State Police.

Ella Catherine Marstaller was last seen by family members at approximately 5:30 p.m. this evening (August 1) when she left her Chiswick Court home driving her gray 2005 Honda Civic with Maryland tags 3BBY52. Family members report that Marstaller suffers from short-term memory loss and is without her medication.

Ella Catherine Marstaller is described as a white female, 5' 2? tall, and weighing 150 pounds. She has brown eyes and white hair. She was last seen wearing a white blouse with red polka dots and long pants.

A Silver Alert has been activated for Ella Catherine Marstaller and her Honda Civic. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Ella Catherine Marstaller or her Honda Civic is urged to call 9-1-1.
