Concern for Missing Bethesda Man

Update: October 1, 2017 - William Glenn Carter III has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Bethesda man.

William Glen Carter III, age 40, was last seen by medical personnel this morning (September 29) at 11:00 a.m., when he left the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center located at 8901 Rockville Pike.

William Glen Carter III, is described as a white male who is 6-foot-tall and weighs 180 pounds.  He is believed to be operating a blue, 2012 Toyota Tundra pickup truck with South Carolina tags, LKD 217.  The Tundra has military stickers, a Path Finder sticker, and Pittsburgh Steelers stickers affixed to it.  There is also a Yamaha motorcycle in the bed of the truck.  The motorcycle is described as having orange, yellow, and blue flames on it.

Police and family members are concerned for Mr. Cater III’s emotional and physical welfare.

Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of William Glen Carter III, or the Toyota Tundra to call the Montgomery County Police Department’s non-emergency number, 301-279-8000.
